Which standard are you aiming for?

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the site.

Can I use the site with only a keyboard?

Yes. Every link, menu and form field can be reached with the Tab key, focus is clearly outlined, and a link at the very top lets you jump straight past the menu to the page content.

Will my screen reader make sense of it?

We use real headings in order, labels on every form field, descriptive text on every photo, and plain links that say where they go. Tables of prices have header rows.

Can I zoom in or use larger text?

Yes. Pages reflow at 200% zoom and on phones down to 320 pixels wide without sideways scrolling, and text colors are chosen for strong contrast against their backgrounds.

What about motion and the chat window?

Nothing on the site flashes. If your device asks for reduced motion, we turn off smooth scrolling. The chat window only opens when you choose to open it and can be closed with one tap.

Is anything still not right?

Probably, somewhere. If a page, a photo description or the form gives you trouble, call (346) 474-5799 or email hello@bayoucleaningco.com. Tell us the page and what happened and we'll fix it, and in the meantime we'll take your request by phone or email instead.
