Cleaning in Richmond

Cleaning in Richmond, from historic houses to the newest Fort Bend communities

Richmond is the Fort Bend County seat, a small historic town on the Brazos River surrounded by some of the fastest-growing new communities in the region.

Historic home with a wide porch in Richmond, Texas

Richmond was founded in the 1820s on the Brazos River and is the county seat of Fort Bend County. The old town has the courthouse, historic homes with deep porches and wooden floors, and small offices around the county buildings. Around it, and especially along the Grand Parkway and FM 359, thousands of new homes have gone up in planned communities over the past fifteen years.

That gives our Richmond work two sides. Older homes need careful, slower cleaning: original wood floors, tall windows, porches that collect dust from the fields and the river bottoms. New homes need a proper builder-dust clean before move-in and then a regular plan. Many households in the new communities are young families who choose every-other-week cleaning.

We also clean law offices, title companies and other professional offices near the county courthouse, and clinics and retail along the main roads into town.

What Richmond books most

Rural roads around Richmond can be a long drive between jobs. Homes far outside town may carry a small travel charge, shown on the quote.

Richmond questions

Do you clean older homes with original wood floors?

Yes. Old wood floors get a damp mop with a wood-safe cleaner, never steam or soaking.

Do you clean new homes before the furniture arrives?

Yes. A move-in or post-construction clean is easiest before anything is unpacked.

Do you clean offices near the courthouse?

Yes, once the building empties, with our standard key and alarm procedure.

Do you also go to Rosenberg?

Yes. Rosenberg and the communities between Richmond and Fulshear are on our regular routes.
