Maid service in Houston, for households that want the whole routine handled
House cleaning keeps the surfaces clean. Maid service takes on the household chores around them too: fresh sheets, a load folded, the dishwasher emptied, the house left looking ready for the evening.

The difference between maid service and house cleaning is the list. A maid service visit includes everything a house cleaning does, and adds the small household tasks that eat up a weeknight: changing bed linens when fresh ones are left out, starting or folding a load of laundry, loading or emptying the dishwasher, tidying kids' rooms, and wiping down the inside of the microwave and the front of every appliance. It suits two-income households, families with young children, people working long shifts at the Medical Center, and older homeowners who would rather not haul a vacuum up the stairs.
Maid service is always recurring, because the value comes from the routine. Most households choose weekly or every other week. On a weekly plan the house barely changes between visits and the crew spends most of its time on finish work. On an every-other-week plan the visit runs a bit longer. Either way you get the same day and time window each cycle, the same crew whenever possible, and a checklist that grows as we learn the house. If you want the guest room aired out before your in-laws arrive, or the patio furniture wiped down before a Saturday cookout, add it to the next visit.
A first visit always comes before the routine starts. It is longer and more detailed, and it is how we learn where things go, which closets stay shut, and how you like the towels folded.

Questions about maid service
What is the difference between a maid service and a cleaning service?
A cleaning service cleans surfaces. A maid service cleans and handles light household chores as well: beds, a load of laundry, dishes and tidying. Both follow a written checklist.
How often should maid service come?
Weekly for families with children or pets, every other week for most other households. Monthly is better suited to plain house cleaning.
Do maids do laundry?
Ours wash, dry and fold one load per visit if you leave it ready, and change the beds when you leave fresh linens out. More loads and ironing can be added.
Do I need to be home during maid service?
No. Most of our maid service customers are at work. A key, lockbox or door code works, and we text on arrival and departure.
Should I tip?
Tipping is never expected. If you want to thank the crew, a note or a tip left on the counter goes to them.
Can I pause the service while traveling?
Yes. Tell us the dates and we hold your slot. If you would like a visit timed to the day before you return, we can do that too.
